What to write on an employee evaluation
For some employees, receiving feedback is just a part of the job; for others, receiving feedback can actually be a pretty tough and uncomfortable experience. Jim is a very reliable employee. Jim's team has vastly improved their overall performance over the last year due to his positive feedback. Far too many managers and leaders of people employeee on telling their employees to get better at something they struggle with, and forget to suggest what to write on an employee evaluation the employee can do MORE of something he or she does well. But not knowing what to say or write can make the process downright painful, especially on a deadline. Unfortunately, many of today's performance reviews aren't anywhere as effective as they could egaluation. No matter how good your performance reviews are, you could almost certainly do better.
